DOLL FACE INJECTABLES
MaryBeth Burns RN-BSN
A B O U T
I'm Mary Beth. I have been an RN for over 14 years and have experience in multiple areas of practice. After a lot of prayer and preparation, I began my journey as an aesthetic nurse injector. I am so excited to bring Dysport to 6th & Big Beauty Bar. I absolutely love this product and I am thrilled to share it with you! I am a #boymom and my husband and two sons are my reason for everything. When I am not working, you can find me at a ballpark somewhere. I love spending time with my family and friends, hosting and entertaining, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, food and wine, and early morning workouts at Burn Boot Camp! I am so excited to work with you to achieve your aesthetic goals.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
When you come to your Dysport appointment we will start with a questionnaire and a consent form to receive the medication. I will then take some "before" pictures that we can use for comparison after injection. Don't worry, these pictures are only for charting purposes and will NOT be posted anywhere without your knowledge and consent. Next, we will discuss your areas of concern and your aesthetic goals. I will ask you to flex the muscles of your face into a few different positions to assess your problem areas and your muscle movement. After cleaning the injection areas with an alcohol swab, I will determine where I would like to inject, mark the areas, and discuss the cost of the procedure. The cost of the procedure is determined by how many units of Dysport we decide you need based on your desired effect. Now we are ready to inject! Injections typically take only a few minutes. When the service is complete, you are free to go on about your day!
F A Q
Do I need to be makeup free for my appointment?
A clean face is best, however, I can use an alcohol swipe to cleanse your face in the areas I plan to inject.

How often do I need to get Dysport injections?
Dysport results usually last 3-4 months.

What happens if I don't continue to get Dysport injections?
Nothing! Although the best results are achieved with consistent repeat injections every 3-4 months, you are not at risk for any adverse reactions for not repeating the injections in this time frame.

Does it hurt?
Dysport is administered with a small gauge needle and is only usually slightly uncomfortable for most clients. The total time spent injecting is typically only a few minutes. I can apply a numbing cream or ice to aid with discomfort if you are especially nervous around needles. However, for most clients this is unnecessary and is described as a little pinch.

Is there any down time after the injections?
There are some post treatment guidelines that you will need to follow for optimal results. However, you can return to your normal activity immediately following injection.

Can I come in for a touchup if I am not 100% happy with the result?
Please do! If you are not satisfied with your results after 2 weeks following injection, contact me for a follow up appointment and we can work together on a plan to achieve your goals!
