BAR EXPERIENCE
A hybrid beauty bar model for hair stylists, we offer the freedom of booth rental combined with all the amenities of a commission salon. This concept is meant to offer a luxury experience for guests and for independent stylists alike.
Imagine having the freedom of being in control of your income, yet still being able to offer your guests an elevated experience. Your guests walk in the door and are able to enjoy a concierge service upon entering. They are offered a drink and a seat at the bar while they wait for you to walk them to their seat. You will have access to towel service and assistants. Also included in your booth rental will be 2 training events per year, a social media specialist, website with online booking, accounting software, back bar supplies, a receptionist who will check
For Stylists
your guest out & reschedule them. You will be a part of the 6th & Big team in a community environment where we will train together and grow together and inspire one another. All artists will work together to make and attain personal and team goals. Our vision is to inspire beauty from the inside out in a beautiful environment, not just with our guests but also with one another.

Minutes of your day can be taken up greeting people, checking them out, scheduling & rescheduling them, creating social media posts, performing accounting tasks, washing towels, & cleaning. This model empowers you to be able to focus on your talents in a clean beautifully designed upscale environment while maximizing your income. So that at the end of the day you can go home & enjoy family & play & leave work at work. It also guarantees that you will be working amongst like-minded people who will cheer you on & help you grow in business & otherwise.
We are also looking to bring on team members who desire opportunities to serve their community in big ways. For Lash Artists
6th & Big is offering a luxury lash experience for guests & lash artists alike. There will be space for 3 lash artists & or threading & lash lift artist. Lash artists will be in high demand in this setting where potential customers are in & out daily receiving other beauty bar services. Here we use only top of the line products so that the guest experience is that of luxury & comfort. We have chosen NovaLash glue which is significantly more costly but allows for great retention. This equals a highly satisfied customer. Guests are greeted with a concierge service upon arrival & are rescheduled upon leaving. This is a commission based position.
For Blowout Specialists
In this position we offer a training program for those who are interested in specializing in blowouts. Whether you are in school to become a stylist, or cut & color just aren't for you, yet you love the styling aspect of hair. Our focus is to bring the Atlanta blowout style business to this area. We will be marketing to girl's night out, bachelorette parties, & pampering sessions. We are talking luxury shampoo service with hot towels, head massage, & peppermint oil. This is a commission based position.
For Special Event Hair & Makeup Artists
This position is offered to those who are gifted in makeup applications & hair artistry in the form of updos & lasting special event styles. Members of this team are employed & trained by A Glamour Affair. Voted top 10 beauty experts in Atlanta & best Atlanta hair & makeup, A Glamour Affair is excited to make their home inside of 6th & Big. Typically known for their on-location services, they are looking to branch out into a home base so that they can also serve guests in one central location. This is a commission based position.
