microblading initial procedure
Microblading is the art of tattooing hair like strokes into the dermis of the skin. Unlike a regular brow tattoo, microblading is not a filled-in brow look, but a realistic hair stroke tattoo in the shape of a brow customized to suit the client's facial structure. The initial procedure lasts about 2 hours, and the procedure is not considered complete until the touchup appointment 4-8 weeks from the initial procedure.

4-8 week touchup
Scheduled at the initial appointment, the touchup is considered the final touch to the microblading procedure. At this appointment any peeling from the initial appointment will be corrected, the shape will be perfected, and can be slightly adjusted for any desired changes, and color will be set. The procedure is not considered complete until after this touchup appointment where the color and shape are set.

microblading: yearly touchup
Microblading can last up to 2 years, but has significant fading by the 1 year mark. If you schedule a touchup at the 1 year mark the rate is discounted. However, any appointment after the 1 year mark is priced like an initial procedure.

Any appointment within 6 months of initial session. This appointment may be needed for those with oily skin, or those who had skin with excessive peeling.

Microshading is sometimes referred to as powder brows. It gives the effect of a more transparent filled look. I often combine microshading with microblading when the natural brow is very dense in one area and not another. It helps to seamlessly blend the microbladed brow with the existing brow.

If you've ever been looking for that perfect brow shape, you've come to the right place! When it comes to brows Kristin is an absolute perfectionist and trusts no one with her own brows, so she knows the importance of eyebrows and how they can make or break your look. Most brow shaping is performed with tweezers as opposed to waxing in order to perfect the shape very precisely. Some instances may call for some waxing.

Here at 6th & Big Beauty Bar Co. we researched the best lash extensions out there and found that NovaLash surpasses them all. So that is who we decided to get certified with. They truly care about the health of your eye and natural lashes while putting out a beautiful product. Their glue is also physician approved. The initial application takes about 2 hours and involves applying an individual eyelash extension to each of your own individual lashes. You can go as natural or dramatic as you like. Lash extensions are great for special events, especially weddings where you will be leaving for a honeymoon afterwards that usually involves the beach. Wake up every morning looking beautiful with full dark lashes. You can even go to the beach and swim without makeup, yet still look good with your lashes.

lash fill-in
Fill-ins are performed every 2-4 weeks after the initial application. This service takes about an hour. Your lashes are on a natural growth cycle and like all other hair on our bodies, the lashes shed and then there is regrowth. The fill-in appointment is to apply new lashes to the new growth where old lashes have shed. Some choose to only have an initial application to last for 6-8 weeks for certain special occasions. The wedding and honeymoon are a great occasion for a one time application to last for the first month of your marriage.

lift & TINT
For those who opt for a more natural approach to enhanced lashes. The Yumilash Lift is a keratin treatment that enhances your natural lashes by lifting and curling the lashes so that they appear much longer and are much more visible than their regular straight shape. The lashes are tinted black at the same time to also add to the enhancement. The Yumilash Lift lasts for 8-12 weeks. Once again, we only use the best in the industry and Yumilash Lift is the brand that met our strict requirements! The process takes about an hour and fifteen minutes.
